About MLS, Inc.
In 1958, Dick Pierce and Cliff Womack published the first My Little Salesman
Catalog from Cliff's home. Well received in the industry, it advertised a mixture of trucks,
trailers, heavy equipment and parts/accessories.
By 1978, and under the sole management and ownership of Dick Pierce, the catalog grew into
two separate entities, My Little Salesman Truck & Trailer Catalog and My Little Salesman Heavy
Equipment Catalog. The company continued its fast pace of growth to eventually become MLS, Inc.
In 1988, ground was broken for MLS, Inc.'s new full-service, 60,000-sq.-ft. state-of-the-art
facility, with art, printing, binding, mailing and shipping all on-site.
In 1998, the next generation began to guide MLS, Inc., into the future as Dick's son, Jason
Pierce took the reins. The company continued its fast-paced growth and provided expanded services,
most notably a full-service Internet Department. The MLS, Inc. Internet Department offers client
inventory and data management systems in addition to website design and development. With its'
implementation, the department began to automatically place all catalog listings online free of
charge ? just another one of the company's value added services.
Today, My Little Salesman's Truck & Trailer Catalog has an effective monthly readership
of 240,000, and its Heavy Equipment catalog has a readership of 175,000. Our online marketplace now receives
over 1.7 million hits per month and just over 25 minutes of average browse time. Just as it has
since 1958, My Little Salesman continues to grow while carrying on its tradition of integrity,
quality and value.
